Some packing will be the same at all times but some items needed to be added to your packing list or changed for each destination's climate.
Sometimes when we travel we will deal with 2 or more different climates. You can visit two different countries, or even varying elevations in the same destination. Another example would be, when your home country is warm, but the destination where you’re traveling is cold.
One thing to keep in mind is packing too much, and having to pay high prices for extra luggage. Also, packing too much is annoying when you have to lug all that luggage around. A key for having to pack would be keeping materials in mind. Say if you are in a freezing climate, but traveling to a milder or even very hot climate, you're going to have to wear clothes to keep you warm up until you get on a plane and land, or on a cruise and to the warmer climate. Wearing a lightweight but warm jacket, with a long sleeve and tank top under that, as well as some leggings under jeans and warm socks before you get to the airport or cruise port. Remember to wear comfortable shoes but also shoes that are easy to slip on and off at the airport, for when you have to go through TSA.

Tropical
The wet season runs end of May to November. July is dry season. Most of the time weather is 85°F to at most 91°F. January is usually the 'coldest' with highs of 82°F.

Tropical with a wet and dry season
The wet season from May to November and the dry season from December to April, Temps throughout the country are around 75°- 95° .
Central America is a land bridge connecting the North and South American continents, with the Pacific Ocean to its west and the Caribbean Sea to its east. A central mountain chain dominates the interior from Mexico to Panama. The coastal plains of Central America have tropical and humid type A climates. In the highland interior, the climate changes with elevation. As one travels up the mountainsides, the temperature cools. Only Belize is located away from this interior mountain chain. Its rich soils and cooler climate have attracted more people to live in the mountainous regions than along the coast.
What’s the weather in Costa Rica like?
Costa Rica is beautifully warm all year, with an average annual temperature of 80°-90° Fahrenheit on the coasts and 75°-80° in the countryside and on the mountainsides. The most stable weather is between December and April. These months have little to no rain in most of the country. Other months typically have rain at some point of the day which has the benefit of vibrant, lively green throughout the natural views. Discounts can be found for rainy season months.
Costa Rica is one of the most popular countries in Central America because of it's beautiful land, culture, great people, weather, and it's safety.
Panama is similar but a little warmer
Temps are around 85°- 95° Fahrenheit For those who enjoy urban architecture and shopping malls with their jungles, Panama is probably the best tourist destination for you. A lot more urban than Costa Rica, Panama offers a delightful mix of man-made attractions and natural sites, making it the destination of choice if you’d like a diversity of experiences.
Panama City is the capital of Panama and a bustling seaside urban metropolis. Here, you’ll find plenty of street food and nightlife along with the extremely gigantic Albrook Mall. In the daytime, head over to Panama City Beach for theme parks, skydiving, helicopter rides, and live music before kicking back at the Panama City Beach Winery. In the evening, head over to some of the many bars, discos, and fine-dining restaurants for a first-class Central American experience. Panama is the second safest country in Central America.
Brrrr. This place is chilly even in summer. Even though the sun is out for 19 hours (bring eye masks for night unless you have an inside stateroom). It get's up to 70° though so don't forget to bring some t-shirts and shorts, especially if your used to cooler weather. Cotton is not something that you want to wear off the ship or when it's raining. It will stay wet and colder. Instead choose fleece lined waterproof pants.
